A native of Magliana, a neighborhood in the suburbs of Rome, ZeroStorie —born Nando Favino, but known simply as Zero to his friends— writes rhymes as if he's pouring boiling tar over music: burning hot and rough, dense and dark, setting into something solid as concrete.

He grew up between freestyle battles in parking lots and free-parties in the area of the Capital, quickly learning that a beat can be an escape as a refuge, but also a trigger and a release. At some point, the young Nando Favino was left behind, and a promise was born: ZeroStorie.

For a couple of months now, Zero has been dating a girl named Flaminia, known as Nina. They posts photos together and he has already introduced her to friends and collegues at QUANTO Records.

His words can be both a reportage and raw poetry, often within the exact same verse, and it always conveys the resilience of a powerful, driving force that pushes him forward —never self-pitying, never condescending, never defeated.

His sound is hip-hop laced with dub, trap, grind, techno, and club-driven beats: basslines that digs deep, dry kicks, dirty synths, some shades of drum’n’bass, and scratches placed exactly where they burn.

Zero doesn't strike a pose: he tells his story without filters. He uses simple, sharp imagery, tags the city with neighborhood nicknames, and drops in details that —if you've been there— you recognize instantly. Perhaps... even if you've never been there.

Lowered shutters, a neon sign flickering on the road, and the night shenanigans that rascals end up getting them/selves into, just to avoid thinking about the looming new day.

Delivering a song, Zero never tries to show off: instead, he captures the listener with words. Young yet streetwise, at times his voice can be raspy, rarely slurred, but his flows are surgical and his creative flair often turns to virtuosim —a direction you wouldn't expect from a rapper, nor from a guy his age. And when he decides to open up, he lets the light in, offering words that stick with you.

His imagery is urban and harshly real, balancing introspection and bitter irony with clean stubbornness. His rage is deep, visceral and vibrating as a bassline... welling up inside him, and often roaring outwards. Zero might come with his cry of redemption, but certainly not with a cry for help.

When a song ends, you feel that the story is yet to be over and that Zero is just catching his breath. Because stories are also made of this —of what happens off-stage, or between the lines. And Zero is incredibly skilled at narrating those voids, that aren't empty at all: everything ends up in the grinder of his refined poetry.

There's no other protagonit fit for the daring adventures and misfortunes of his. It's always about Zero narrating Zero, and he does so in third person. Unfortunately, he doesn't get along with himself, but still he is forced to come to terms, since Zero is both the character being told and the author of that very same character.

His debut album, "Anno Zero", is about to be digitally released in early October 2026 by QUANTO Records: it will report this last year of his life, with his frailties and his downfalls, with his turning points and with Zero's rebirth through music.
